Since their conception 20 years ago they have achieved an unrivalled level of growth, possessing a multi-divisional structure that spans a UK office network.  This progressive, values based organisation has most recently entered the health and care sector, successfully winning business within a competitive and buoyant market.  As such a new position has been created to run the Nursing team from their Manchester offices.

The Position

Operationally responsible for nursing recruitment across the UK, the main responsibilities of the Team Manager are:

• Recruiting, developing and performance managing a team of 8 Recruitment Consultants to deliver company objectives and financial targets through effective KPI management and leadership.
• Responsible for both personal and team financial budget
• Leading by example, driving new business, identifying new business leads, renewing client relationship and sustaining existing contracts.
• Recruitment, selection, attraction and distribution of nursing staff through out the team.
• Working closely with the NHS and private sector, involved with tender completion, PSL agreements and fee negotiations.

• To ensure positive and consistent communication across the team, championing best practices, company values and the ethos of the business.

The Successful Candidate

Must be an experienced Team Leader or Manager with an in-depth understanding of healthcare recruitment, able understand the fundamentals of effective performance management.  A proven track record of personal billing and team success is also essential, possessing a positive outlook, drive to succeed and an excellent understanding of how to get the best out of people.  In reward for hard work, enthusiasm and financial success, an excellent package is offered together with ongoing training, development and the chance to work within a rapidly growing business for the long term.
