The Job

A reputable organisation with an unrivalled track record and 15 years experience in the delivery of senior and middle specialist interim management across a variety of industry sectors.  At any given time they have broad range of roles that are spread across a variety of industry sectors, coupled with a high level of loyalty from candidates.

The industries that they work within are Energy and Utilities, Education, Health, Central Government, Health, Business Psychology, with a loyal and extensive candidate and client database.

The Person

As an Assistant Recruitment Consultant you will provide support to two Directors and a Consultant.  You will be predominantly Candidate facing and will therefore be responsible for sourcing new candidates for positions, as well as keeping in touch with the Candidates so that you are always fully aware of their availability and so that you can update with any new positions that have become available.

You will be dealing with the recruitment of interim candidates into the Public Sector and a typical role could consist of Head of Highways, Head of School Improvement, Head of Services Procurement Manager and Procurement Director predominantly into PCTs, Local Authorities etc.

You will also be responsible for some aspects of business development although the role does NOT have a business development focus, it is more candidate management orientated.

The Company

You will ideally have some experience of working within a Public Sector environment, or experience as a Resourcer / Researcher within a recruitment environment.  You will be ambitious and motivated by success as well as having an innate ability to communicate well at a senior level.

You must be organised and able to effectively prioritise your workload and be able to work effectively in a fast paced environment

As a Recruitment Consultant joining an established team that successfully supplies Allied Healthcare Professionals to the NHS on contract, you will be responsible for the full recruitment process, offering recruitment solutions to clients & candidates, as well as regularly conducting interviews and attending client’s visits.    You will be responsible for, developing client relationships, driving new business and establishing positive working relationships with candidates who have a genuine need for locum work, you will also provide support in the acquisition of official documentation.   The position sits within a strong team environment that offers huge potential on an individual and team basis.
