As a candidate facing consultant you will be responsible for proactively managing a bank of doctors.

The Job

As a Candidate Facing Consultant you will be responsible for proactively managing a bank of doctors, offering locum assignments and protecting margin throughout the recruitment process.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

·         Maintain regular contact with doctors, identifying their locum requirements, offering work accordingly and building lasting working relationships.  

·         Proactivley develop a doctor database to attract new doctors to work as locums

·         Negotiating doctor rates in line with client charge rates, always mindful on company margins and personal revenue

·         Manage the temporary recruitment process from offer to confirmation.

·         To comply with all company, statutory and quality policies and procedures

·         To effectively manage all complaints in line with company procedures.

·         To actively participate in team activities and contribute towards continuous improvement initiatives

The Person

Will ideally possess experience of recruitment and understand the importance of positive working relationships within a competitive recruitment market.  Experience of healthcare recruitment would be ideal however, the ability to demonstrate success within a fast paced, ever changing sales environment would also be considered.  The successful candidate must be enthusiastic, persuasive and able to constantly juggle all aspects of the recruitment process.  They must also relish the opportunity to work within a volume driven environment as well as appreciate the importance of compliance, an essential factor when dealing with the NHS.

The Package

Salary £23-30K dependent on experience

Excellent OTE
