An established and highly reputable healthcare recruiter that possesses a strong and enviable position within this competitive market.  Working closely with the NHS and private sector, our client appreciates the need for a service driven approach to achieve and maintain excellent client and candidate relationships.  In 2009 the business has seen significant organic growth and is now poised to fully capitalise on the opportunities available within an incredibly buoyant market. As such the new position of Business Development Manager has become available offering an exciting opportunity to fully utilise sales ability in a purely client facing role.

The Position

As a Business Development Manager working across the full spectrum of healthcare markets ( Doctors, AHP’s and HSS) you will be required to identify new clients and further develop existing relationships, always selling the recruitment solutions on offer and the company benefits. You will work closely with colleagues to identify new business leads and exploit business opportunities always mindful of the overall company objectives.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Daily/Weekly contact with clients to maintain, develop and establish long term working relationships.
  • Face to face visits and presentations to win new business and improve rapport
  • Increase the number of temporary positions given to the client, working closely with Recruitment Consultants to improve fill rates.
  • Maximise business opportunities through the identification of individual client needs
  • Provide management information to clients and senior managers to continually improve service delivery and company performance.
  • Build excellent working relationships with colleagues to achieve business objectives and meet client fill rates

The Successful Candidate

Will ideally possess a strong portfolio of achievement with recruitment and the desire to specialise within a client only facing role. The successful candidate may already have healthcare recruitment experience or an understanding of how to sell to the NHS however experience of another recruitment sector would certainly be considered, as long as there is a genuine interest of working within the Healthcare sector.  This is a proactive and sales driven role that demands a high level of communication skills, team spirit, amazing multi tasking skills and the ability to understand and fulfil client needs.
