The Job

Reporting to the Board the Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving new business, selling the company service, instigating new tender applications and being the face of the organisation for all new business opportunities. The Business Development Manager is a pivotal position within the organisation providing the vital link between new business opportunities and the Recruitment Consultants whose focus is always on operational delivery and achieving results. The Business Development role is predominately Leeds based however, the remit is to work with clients throughout the UK, visiting clients when necessary and always considering the bigger picture, employing long term sales strategies to achieve new business wins.

The Person

To be successful in this position the ideal candidate will possess a proven new business track record within IT sales, with experience of client presentations, tender response management and client visits. Knowledge of IT recruitment would be ideal however, experience of an alternative IT sector would certainly be considered as the ability to sell and strategically business develop are the most important factors. The Business Development Manager position also calls for a can do attitude, bags of enthusiasm and the ability to see the bigger picture as lateral thinking and a hunger for success are qualities vital to ensure the position succeeds.
